Bottled Up

What's up, Blog? Another day, another song!

(If this makes sense to anyone, I'll eat my hat. No really. I'll eat my hat.)

((And if that makes sense to anyone, well then you have my deepest admiration.))

I just wrote a song. It was an attempt to follow in Owl City's footsteps. I guess I learned not to go against my style too much. Its not that great. Just "so-so." Im guessing you'll all be left with the same overwhelming feeling of underwhelmingness. Without further sabotaging, here is my latest song:

Bottled Up

Don’t judge my stranglehold
You can’t see how I’m oversold
The ice in the cracks
Of the asphalt on my back
Is making it hard to drive slowly

Lick the lime scale pavement
If the paint scheme seems to be ancient
Can you read this word out loud?
I heard lightning never strikes out
More than once
And that’s why I bottled it up

The greener leaves
Abandoned me
To a lifetime of
Pretending
That we have more than enough

I suppose its not as terrible as I thought. Still, its not my strongest outing.
